Explanation of Browse Sequences - Version 3 of EasyHelp Only

Below only applies to the old version 3 of EasyHelp/Web.

Browse sequences are controlled by the Browse= statement in the 'details' file.

By default EasyHelp/Web creates a browse sequence of browse=filename:0000 which means that if you split you help file into separate documents and build a single help file from the multiple documents you do not need to do much work :-)

The *default* order of Topics within a browse sequence is the order that they appear in the document.

Organise you documents and you have less work to do!!

Here is an extract from a typical browse & sequence for a three part document where I have changed the default browse statement
