Below only applies to the old version 3 of EasyHelp/Web.

The book (contents) is held in a separate file call helpname.CNT.

If you create a CNT file for your help file and place it in the same directory you will see the contents hierarchy. You can do this even with 16 bit Help files (Compiler with HCP.EXE )running under Windows 95 or NT.

To create a basic .CNT file with EasyHelp/Web you run the macro called EasyCNT using the Tools | Macros command in Word. This will create a .CNT file containing all your Topics from the current document. This option is accessible via the 'Tree' button on the very latest upgrade of EasyHelp/Web from our Web site.

Tip. You can then produce a separate CNT file for each document. Then when you run the macro with the make multiple document Help file selected a master CNT is made that includes all the others. The master CNT file has the same name as your project.

You then use Microsoft Help WorkShop (HCW) to refine the contents file.
