Image Maps in Web Pages - Help Authoring Site

Until recently the only way of doing image maps in HTML was to use a statement that pointed to a MAP located on your Web server. This is still the method that works with all browsers.

This method is supported by EasyHelp/Web the use of embedded maps is not yet supported yet.

To use a map on the server you edit the 'details file and put a statement similar to that below. Look at EX5.DOC for an example.

[Image Maps]

james=http://Your/Image/Map/Statement/james.map

Where james is the name of the picture in your document.
